So Silly!

This kid of mine cracks me up. She gets into everything (though sometime I don't think that is too funny) and does the funniest things. The other night, after her bath and right before bed, Emily pulled out all of the stuffed animals in her toy box and crawled right in!
She thought this was so much fun!
Lately she has been walking around just like this! Those are the bunny ears she got in her Easter basket! She outs them on her waist and walks all around the house!
And she LOVES milkshakes! I usually get one milkshake to share between me and her. But its not long before she grabs the milkshake all for her self.
Yum!

And here is a silly video of Emily and her daddy. She had the best time doing that, I just couldn't stop laughing. Sorry its sideways (again)

Busy busy busy

Thats what we have been, super busy! With Antonio getting out of the Marines, we have been getting things set for us to get out. I went home for a week last week to look for a house. We also had to buy a car, because our Focus was totaled. Antonio got rear ended on base, and that was the end of the poor Focus. So we wound up getting an '06 Nissan Sentra. Antonio loves, and I'm really happy he has a car he likes! After the car was taken care of, it was house hunting. We found one we love and are already in the process of buying it! It has a living room, formal dining room, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms on the main level, as well as an eat in kitchen. There is one bedroom upstairs and the basement it finished! There is also a good size backyard with a deck! There is some work to do but that ok, we feel really good about it! Here it is.
We don't have many other pictures from the past week. I was so busy at home to think to take them, and then buy the time I pulled out my computer it was dead! Go figure, right?!
Now an update on Emily. She is walking EVERYWHERE, even trying to run at times! We try to let her walk everywhere, like to the cart at the supermarket, or on the sidewalk infromt of a store. She loves to think she is getting away from you. And she is talking up a storm. She says "no" "mama" "dada" and "go go go." She called Amy "pup-pup" and can say "baby" and "thank you" (though that one sounds a little more like "tankooo"). And she even says her first sentence, sort of. She says "There you go." Its pretty funny. She says new words every day. I'm sure its not going to be long before she is talking up a storm!
Emily is big on the temper tantrums too. Its pretty funny to watch (I know that sounds mean but it is). She used to throw herself head first on the floor and scream! But I guess she realized after banging her head one too many times that it raelly hurts! So now, she gets on her hands and knees, gently bumps her head on the floor, and rolls on to her back and starts crying! She's so funny, she will even take a moment to walk off of the tile to the carpet to bump her head, because she knows it will hurt less. Yeah, we've got our hands full alright.
Hopefully I will get more pictures on here soon. But for right now its all about cleaning and trying to get my house into some kind of order.

Yard Sale Day!

Yesterday we had a yard sale and it was a busy day! Antonio was super helpful...

Actually he really was helpful. He watched Emily and Maya while all us girls (me, Mandi and Kristin) were outside with the sale. During the sale Antonio kept the kids busy in the kiddie pool we have.

The sale went really well, we made a bunch. And since we did so well we are going to have another sale later on in the summer. We finished with the sale early and headed over to the pool at Mandi's. She had a blast!

This would have been such a cute picture if she would have opened her eyes!
All the kicking she was doing was seriously pooping her out!
I was pushing Emily around in her baby raft.
Family picture. Emily wouldn't stop long enough to look at the camera!
After the pool and dinner we headed over the carnival they were having on base. They have it every year, but we've never been, so we decided to check it out. We went on the merry-go-round, but my camera died just in time.

I was able to get only one pn my camera but I took a bunch of pictures on Mandi's camera. As soon as I get them from her I'll put them up.
The best thing about a carnival is the funnel cake! So yummy!
Emily loved it! We might even go back for some more tonight!

While mommy's "away" the kiddos play

Technically, I wasn't "away." I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. Since Antonio had to work over night and couldn't get out of it, Mandi and Kristin were kind enough to come over and take care of me. Kristin drove me to and from the appointment, and Mandi stayed overnight to help me out. They were great I'm so happy and thankful I have awesome friends like them. Of course, Mandi brought Maya, and Emily didn't mind that mommy was out of commission too much because she had a playmate!

Maya just loved to watch Emily's every mood. Its like she taking in everything she is supposed to do and exactly how to do it! Though Maya is such a big girl already! She is scooting and sitting all on her own!

Here they are playing with Emily's table. Maya was doing pretty good unsupported, though she did wind up taking a bit of a spill, ending playtime for the moment. But no worries, they were right back at it again.
I'm feeling alright. I was actually feeling pretty great yesterday, but today it is hitting me a lot harder. I'm very out of it. But I was able to get down some rice soup from the Chinese place and thats made me feel a little better to have something in my stomach. Hopefully I'll be totally recovered and back to myself again soon!
A big thanks to Kristin for taking me, waiting for me, and some how getting me back home (because I don't remember a thing!). And I can't thank Mandi enough for coming over and being my nurse. You're the best and I don't know what I would do with out you (drugged or not).
