My Birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday. We went to Pancho Villa for dinner. I didn't take any pictures (I was more worried about my margaritas) but the lovely Mandi did! There are more I just haven't gotten from her, but here are some pics she shot of the kiddos (lets admit it, thats what you really care about).

Emily waving high to the camera!

Maya was screaming, so Emily put her fingers in her ears!

Another day at the beach!

Today we went to the beach again. It was probably our best trip ever. Emily had so much fun playing in the water, picking up seashells, running around, and even eating sand. Yum! She looked so cute in her bathing suit (from Aunt Kaity).

Daddy took her into the water. She loved it!
This is with the zoom on, I mean he took her really far in!
I even got in a picture.
After the beach we went to the aquarium.

They have baby sea turtles there! They are so cute!
She loved the alligators!
So we put her up with the alligator statue....
And she tried to bite it! Our little alligator!

Happy Anniversary!

A day late, but yesterday was our 3 year wedding anniversary. We didn't do anything really special. Hung out with the kiddo, I made a big dinner of bruschetta, french onion soup, and fettuccine alfredo, and we went out for ice cream afterward. It was very low key, but with the move coming up we've been trying to be low key lately. No pictures, but here is one of us from 3 whole years ago.

Bradley's 1st Birthday!

Yesterday was my friend Trina's son Bradley's 1st Birthday! We went and had a great time! There were necklace's there for everyone to play with, and Emily loved them! We got to take a few home, and literally will not take them off. She says "pretty" now, she puts on her necklace and goes "oh pretty"!
Of course Emily had to test drive all of Bradley's new toys.
Here is Brad's cake. It was a Mickey Mouse Club House them, and super yummy.
Singing Happy Birthday to the big boy!
He's such a cute, and barely made a mess with his cake!
We tried to get a picture with all the kids. But the end, more than one kid was crying! Emily could care less and kept on playing with her necklaces, and Bradley would not stay still! So this was the best we could get. From left to right its Kenny Jr, Emily, Jaidyn, Bradley, and Maya!
After the picture the kids got to play with the balloons. After she realized they were not going to hurt her, she loved them! She kept pulling on the balloon yelling "ba ba, ba ba." I think the word "balloon" might be a little advanced for her!

Dirty Laundry

Emily loves playing in laundry baskets, so lately I've just been leaving an empty one in the living room for her. She has so much fun just sitting in them, so the other night I crawled in too! She thought it was the funniest thing ever!

Back to the Beach

We took another trip to the beach on Saturday. Emily LOVED it! Even better than the last 2 times we took her. She was all about the water and running (away) up and down the beach.

Mandi and Maya came with us. Here is Emily and Maya investigating together. Maya wasn't as thrilled as Emily was about the water, but did really well for her first time at the beach. I think we have 2 beach bums on our hands.

These pictures aren't even the half of it. After she got used to the water, Antonio took her OUT into the water. He himself was about waste deep and was crashing into the waves with her. She LOVED IT!!! She was all smiles and laughing, not even scared at all. I was a totally different story. There aren't any pictures of that because I was literally crapping my pants.

Running (away) as always.

She was having a blast, so happy to just sit and splash in the water. Not much longer after this, it starting raining, and we had to grab all our stuff and make a mad dash to the car. It wasn't even supposed to rain Saturday, but that's North Carolina weather for you! We got a good 2 hours of beach time in, and it was totally worth it.
